There are lots of reasons why you’ll fi nd
Utah at the top of any self-respecting skier’s
or rider’s checklist again and again. But there
are only three you really need to know:
1) The license plate slogan is no exaggeration.
This really is the Greatest Snow on Earth;
2) That snow is surprisingly easy to get to.
You’re never more than a quick run up a
nearby canyon from loads of the good stuff;
3)There’s plenty to enjoy off the slopes day
and night. We’ll get to the details and there
are plenty of them—500 annual inches of
the freshest, lightest, most perfect powder,
11 world-class resorts within an hour of
the International Airport, and on and
on—but until you’ve had fi rst tracks on
24” of untouched powder… Well, details
are just details.
