The T Round Barn Farm, Waitsfi eld, Vermont

Take Waitsfi eld’s Round Barn Farm. The 1910 Shaker barn was collapsing
when the Simko clan began restoring it in 1988. They now use
it to host weddings, art shows and business conferences, recording
sessions… the works.
The original milking shed is now a sun-drenched, country kitchen/dining
room where you’ll want to linger a while longer over chef Charlie’s farmfresh,
localvore breakfasts. The stables, coach- and farmhouses now
contain 12 sumptuous suites, each unique and splendid… and most
with views of Sugarbush and Mad River Glen.
