The Shot: “This was a great day. We’d been waiting for the sun for about 10 days; the
Santa Rosa Tempest had been strong. The top of Copahue volcano was very windy,
making it impossible to use a snowmobile, so we just climbed the face behind our refuge.
We found nearly 60 cm of fresh powder and had a wonderful ride in araucarias trees
over Caviahue Lake. It was paradise!”
