NORDICA
Nordica’s place atop the ski boot kingdom continues to be secured with innovations like last season’s
category- busting Gransport. A high-end, four-buckle performance boot to the naked eye, a doublehinge
design gives the Gransport the ease of entry that used to only available in a rear-entry. The
versatility and ski-ability of the Gransport make it appealing to a wide range of skiers, while Nordica’s
Dobermann line continues to eat up the World Cup, and the Speedmachine graces the feet of hot
skiers from Brighton to Blackcomb.
Which left Nordica free to focus on expanding its Supercharger line, introducing everything from
faux-fur liners, bling buckles, candy-apple colors, increased cushioning and dirt-bike-worthy suspension
on the big-mountain bullying Blower and Enforcer, as well as the pipe-and-park-burning Ignition
and Spark.
ROSSIGNOL
Science keeps fi nding new ways to improve the way we ski. At Rossignol, an ongoing scientifi c project
in which the company scanned the foot-measurement data of the lasts of all competitive ski boots
resulted in the improved anatomic shape of Rossi’s new high-end Elite and pro freeride-ready B Squad
shells. Rossignol is continuing to do extensive foot-measurement research to fuel further innovation
— including a radically improved liner fi t across almost all of Rossignol’s boot collections. New molded
padding is the secret, featuring more precise anatomical contouring for better
control and cushioning in almost every Rossi boot model.

SALOMON
Ski shoe king Salomon heats up the snow with news it will debut three new boot lines. That’s like
Ben & Jerry’s introducing three new fl avors. The Impact and its counterpart, the female-friendly Idol,
feature ‘tri-density’ injected shells (bi-density is the norm). Translation: the boot is lighter, more
fl exible and much easier to ski as Salomon’s proprietary Spaceframe construction makes the walls of
the boot progressively thicker where they need to be. Meanwhile, the new Mission and Divine come
complete with Salomon’s silky smooth 3D Sensifi t for entry and comfort, and Wing Sole Technology,
a snugger overlap from Salomon’s running shoe gurus. Finally, the new Elios and Charm are comfort
models that promise extra warmth. And, this being Salomon, the freestyle team members also get
a limited edition Promodel with a leather overlay in the two-buckle SPK collection, as well as the
SPK Krystal designed just for women.

B SQUAD CARBON
Tecnica’s Diablo series is already heating up the feet of everyone from world class racers to worldwide
rippers, while the amazingly versatile Vento collection captures everyone from experts to beginners
with its impressive array of fi t, features and function. Both lines inform Tecnica’s cool new Agent
Collection, a distinctive series designed for fashion-conscious freeriders.
With the proven performance, as well as all the custom cant, lean, spoiler and cuff options already
built into the Diablo and Vento, the Agent tailors its fl ex and design toward a big-mountain setting.
These boots are built to rip deep powder, steep cirques, and the park and pipe. They’ll also be hard
to miss on the hill, while showing off translucent white shells topped by black cuffs and some rather
tasteful plaid accenting.
Tecnica also plans to introduce a new Diablo Pro with a softer fl ex for lighter skiers, and a new
souped-up Pro for ladies, at the at the top of the Attiva collection.
